Stokes Honda of Beaufort will be part sponsor of the Hilton Head Dog Walk on the beach this year. The 19th Annual Dog Walk will be benefiting the Hilton Head Humane Association. They expect to raise more this year than any other year and we hope our donation contributes to that. Reaching their goal this year of 0,000 will substantially help provide support for dogs and cats of the low country, Medical care for animals in need, especially those with special circumstances, and continuing their yearly increase in adoptions.

Stokes Honda will be part sponsor of the Coach Kay Yow Golf Tournament this year. If you don’t know who Coach Yow is, she was a basketball coach for over 20 years and loved every day of it. Her accomplishments extended well beyond the basketball court. Coach Yow was 737-340 but, believed that her life should be about much more than just wins and losses… victory #738 should be finding the cure.

The event also highlights and honors an “Allenite” who has contributed to his or her community. This year their honoree is Mr. Donaldson Stevenson, a 1957 graduate of Allen University and a memeber of St. John AME Church of Ridgeland, SC.

Throughout the year of 2015, Stokes Honda will be contributing to Hope Children’s Home. Hope Children’s home was founded in 1968 and has rescued nearly 5,000 children between the ages of infant to 18 years old. Most of these children have been discarded, abused, unwanted, or orphaned. The purpose of Hope Children’s Home is to share christ with the children to mold them into biblically and academically educated members of our future society. Stokes Honda loves sports, and we love to support kids who also love sports. We are a proud sponsor of The Unit: A Sports Mentoring Program. The Unit, which is part of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), is a program that desires to benefit youth using basketball as a medium. Their volunteer coaches are committed to seeing all young men well trained in any sport. These young men are fostered in and environment that emphasizes athletic excellence, physical and mental discipline, self-esteem, leadership, and sportsmanship. Their commitment is essential in order for each player to reach their full potential. Our sponsorship will help send these young men on the road to national tournaments in a few major cities in hopes to expand the level of exposure players receive from college scouts and recruiters. Ideally this exposure will lead to the possibility of athletic scholarship offers.
Broad River Elemtary School will be participating in the 2013 Jump Rope for Heart/Hoops for Heart program. Stokes Honda will be contributing to this great event. These programs are designed to educate students on the importance of daily physical activity, the importnance of healthy eating and living tabacoo free while raising money to fund life saving research. Because so many people have heart conditions, including children, this truly helps the students understand that heart disease affects people of all ages and helps create passion and understanding of the program.
Stokes Honda loves the animals! This is why we are proud to sponsor the 16th Annual Dog Walk on the Beach. The walk take place on the Boardwalk at Colingy Beach. The Dog walk on the Beach event is held to support and raise funds for the Hilton Head Humane Association.

Stokes Honda of Beaufort is on the run this year. We are happy to sponsor the 2nd Annual Race4Love 5K Run/Walk event. This event is to benefit the survivors of domestic violence who reach out to CODA for assistance. CODA had been the only organization meeting the spektrum of needs of Lowcountry child and adult survivors of domestic violence. To date CODA has assisted over 11,600 survivors.
