Just purchased a new Honda odyssey from stokes Honda of beaufort and have to say it was the best experience ever. We were greeted with a warm welcome right from get go. No pushy salespeople. We had received an offer from them in the mail which seemed too good to be true, but it definitely was not. We got a better than ever imagined deal on our vehicle. Our salesman was Rob Williams, And You could not ask for a nicer guy! Very personable and professional, with a great knowledge of his product. We felt like We were family. Would Definitely recommend them if you are in the market for a new vehicle. Also, David, who went over financials with us, was excellent!
I have had my Acura vehicle serviced at Stokes for about 10 years (Mike is a great service advisor) and have been very pleased. When it came to purchasing a new vehicle I wanted to find a good vehicle at a reasonable price. I didn't want to be "hounded" by salesmen by text or email. Joe Smalls in sales was wonderful! Quiet and a good listener, Joe helped us wade through the choices and explained accessory details that many salespeople are unaware of. He was very helpful and not at all pushy. I believe if you "go with Joe" you won't be disappointed!
What a great experience we had with the service department. While driving to Beaufort area on vacation, my Acura developed a loud and annoying noise coming from glove compartment area. This would happen only at higher speeds. I stopped in about 3PM and met Michael, a service writer. He listened to me, asked many questions to narrow down issue. As he was setting up an appointment, he saw Patrick, service manager & master mechanic, and called him over & explained what was going on with my car. Patrick said he had some ideas & went to my car, diagnosed the problem, which turned out to be simple but impossible to find by someone untrained & fixed it. I was overwhelmed by this dealership/service department. I can’t say enough about my experience plus Michael even gave us several recommendations for restaurants while we are in the area. I highly recommend this dealership for anyone who is looking for quality service with old fashioned values.
This dealership is RACIST. My family purchased a used BMW convertible from them on 11/16/2024. The piece covering the hinge for the roof was broken on one side, I asked multiple reps making sure it’s not a mechanical issue and every single one assured me that it is not. A week after purchasing it, the other piece covering the other hinge broke the same way, it was very odd that it broke off on its own. I took the car to a BMW repair shop and they tell me it is in fact a mechanical problem and they need to replace the inner hinges as well. Our salesperson and I both signed a “We Owe, You Owe” contract including the fact that the first broken piece will be fixed and within 30 days of the purchase any other repairs (not at our fault) will be covered. I have been trying to reach them about this and they kept ignoring my calls and texts. Finally, yesterday my salesperson answered and I asked to speak to the sales manager John Fernandez. He started off by not even letting me speak and talking over me. I was shocked by how unprofessional and rude he was. Saying things like “Stop calling my office! Stop calling my phone!”, literally yelling at me. He didn’t let me even ask what I wanted to, and the whole phone call was John Fernandez constantly screaming. I don’t argue though because I know if someone is yelling that is their problem and nothing to do with me and I will not stoop to their level of immaturity. It shows the kind of person you are. Anyway, I would give this dealership zero stars if I could. This is definitely racially motivated because we are a brown family and they are trying to take advantage of my immigrant parents. I don’t want anyone else to have to go through what my family and I are going through. You can not trust that the people working there have your best interest in mind. If you have any sense of morals, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS DEALERSHIP. It is run by liars and scammers. Thank you.
Scheduled an 8:30am appointment for an alignment, balance and tire rotation. I was told it would take 1hr 20 minutes. At 10am, Brett made a service recommendation. 10:45am I checked to see if my vehicle was ready. Later informed it would be an additional hour before they were complete. I asked why. Informed it was very busy today. Not acceptable when I have a scheduled appointment. As of 11:28am I am still waiting!!😡😡
My husband and I purchased a 2023 Honda Pilot last night and had the best experience ever with our salesman Bert who I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and our Finance guy Jerry. Bert and Jerry had impeccable customer service and I will definitely use them again for any future Honda purchases. I honestly felt like they wanted us to be happy with our deal and our vehicle. I had such an awesome experience purchasing my accord with Bert G. He went above and beyond to make the experience fun and smooth. As a marine stationed here with no family around, I was grateful that Bert went out of his way to explain the details of the process and even helped me with my insurance afterward. I HIGHLY recommend going to see him for a car. My friend referred me to him and I will continue to refer my friends to him.

Caveat emptor. Bought a used 2012 BMW X5 "on the quick" because a similar car my wife had was totaled after she was rear ended. One of the bigger mistakes of my life. Car was driven up to me in Charleston with numerous warning lights on. The dealership put two new tires on the front but had two old messed up ones on the back. There was A DENT that didn't show in the pictures above the rear driver's side wheel. The car hadn't been detailed. The rear wiper didn't work at all. The passenger side door handle had essentially melted into some type of sticky goo. Long story short, $5000 later and I finally have this thing in decent shape. Stay in your lane Stokes Honda. Stay in your lane....

I want to take a moment to thank Gregg for all of his assistance. I went to get my car serviced and there were several lights on which had me concerned. Gregg must have seen it or sensed it and made me feel comfortable. He told me to come in early the next morning to drop my car off and he would take car of everything. So said, so done. He called me with the diagnosis and told me that it would be finished by the end of the work day which it was. This was my first time going to a dealership to service my car and I'm sure we've all heard stories about how they can be towards customers, but not Gregg, he really cares. I appreciated it.
Today Daniel Hodges / JJ Stokes agreed to return the 1078.00 I spent out of pocket on a Audi A6 that had a broken water pump when I bought it in April. I wrote a bad review , but today I am happy that my money will be returned in a few days. My faith is restored in Stokes Honda Used Cars of Beaufort SC! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽🇺🇸Happy veteran😀
I visited Stokes Honda dealership in Beaufort today with the intent to buy a truck. I had been preapproved for a loan and had my down payment. The sales person did a great job. Everything was going well until I countered the first offer that was made. The used car manager walked over and said that we would not be able to do business today. I drove 2.5 hours to see the truck and made what I thought was a reasonable counter offer. He did not say this is the best we can do. He shut down negotiations and walked away. It was an upsetting experience. I will never buy anything from this dealership and I will share my awful experience with my Facebook friends.
The last 4 appointments I had with them for service, my car was returned with oil hand prints on the seats, loose drip pan plug, rummaged through. My vehicle should be returned in the same condition I left with them.....period! Oh, I forgot to mention, that the hubcaps were put back on covering the valve stems!
The staff went the extra mile to get our car fixed and back to us by the end of the day since they knew we were traveling and still had far to go to reach our new home. They went to a lot of trouble to get the parts needed and to explain all the problems to us. They are a very hard working staff. We appreciate the great professional and high quality service. Our car now feels like new.
