The 2026 Honda Prelude, coming soon to Stokes Honda Cars of Beaufort in SC, near St. Helena Island, Port Royal, Bluffton, and Hilton Head Island, is returning and bringing a whole new level of hybrid swagger to the streets. If you remember when yacht rock was floating through the radios, you probably remember the original model, introduced in 1978. The Prelude was a hit and rolled off the production line for decades until 2001. Now, Honda is bringing it back, and while they’re mum on specific details, we’re thinking it’s coming back as a sleek hybrid coupe. From the teaser photos Honda has shared, we can seek a super sleek roofline, muscular back end with a rear spoiler, and sporty black, multi-spoke wheels. It’s a package that has us excited to see what the Prelude is capable of!
